IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Course completion alone does not qualify
you for appointment as a chief tour conductor.
Appointment requires completion of itinerary management training delivered by a training body registered with the Japan Tourism Agency, as well as the prescribed practical experience and other requirements. The qualification does not itself grant immigration status or permission to work in Japan.

- Q01Is this a Japanese tour-guide licence?
- No. This is the itinerary management system for the chief tour conductor on an organised tour. It is separate from qualifications such as the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter.
- Q02Can I enrol without Japanese-language ability?
- Course language, completion testing, and eligibility vary by intake and training provider. We confirm the available Chinese-language support before application.
- Q03Can I work as a chief tour conductor immediately after the course?
- No. The prescribed practical experience and other conditions must also be met. We explain the required steps before enrolment.
- Q04Does the qualification allow me to work in Japan?
- No. Qualification requirements and immigration or work authorisation are separate matters. Your status and employer must be considered independently.
